For a little send off into the holiday weekend, we have the last installment in Jillan’s Flowers + Favors series. Yay! Doesn’t the idea of spiced fig jam get you in the mood for big wintery celebrations?

The jam jar toppers were created by tearing out pages from an old book, and tying them with vintage ribbon.

The flowers are amazing, the jam looks divine, and the recipe cards are a super cute addition! We have two downloads for you too:

Jam jar labels
Fig Jam recipe cards

And we’ll announce our Paper + Craft giveaway winners on Friday. See you then!

This is so super exciting you guys. You all have heard about Paper+Cup‘s new book, Paper+Craft, yes? It’s amazing. Really. So many beautiful, crafty paper creations.

Here’s a little sampling of what you’ll find in their book, which is a collaboration between Randi Brookman Harris (heart her!), Paper+Cup Design, and Johnny Miller. (A dream team, don’t you think?)

There are some painfully cute crafty ideas for all you brides tackling your wedding with paper. Minhee has been so kind to do a tutorial on her super cute silhouette escort cards.

AND, we’ll be giving away 3 books to 3 lucky readers!!! Please leave a comment below and we’ll pick winners at random.

Materials:

Silo template (Download it here!)
Black construction paper
mini glue dot
Drink glasses
Exacto cutting knife
Scissors
Cutting mat
Thin black pen
White ink pen
Small jewelry tags
or
Rub off decals or number stickers

Instruction/how to:

1. Download and print template on plain white paper
2. Choose the size you need and cut it out and lightly tape on to the black construction paper.
3. Using your exacto and scissor, cut out the silouhette shape. You can cut about 3 sheets at a time.
4. Write names with the white ink pen and attach it to the glass using a double stick tape or mini glue dot.

If using mini tags:
5. write with the black pen, the table numbers on the mini tags
6. loop around the base of the glass. Works best for wine or champagne glasses.
7. attach the silhouette towards the rim.

If using the decal/stickers:
5. place the number centered on the glass
6. attach the silhouette head towards the rim using a mini glue dot.

Cute, no? These would make such excellent additions to a holiday celebration too!

Don’t forget to leave a comment to be entered into the book giveaway! You want this one, we promise.

This contest is now closed. We’ll be announcing the winner on Friday. Thanks for entering!

It’s Thanksgiving week, everyone! Yay!! Which means it’s high time to get excited for hay bales and gourds and pretty, rustic tablescapes. And this October wedding that Jillian styled is perfect for getting us all in the mood.

Piles of pumpkins and gourds are always welcome this time of year.

Pretty pretty paper from Erica of Thoughtful Day.

Doesn’t the tent look so pretty? Such a nice mix of elegance and casual celebration.

And s’mores! No one could ever tire of a s’mores at the end of the night.

Gorgeous celebration, everyone! Congrats, Sarah and Joe!

How sweet are these engagement session photos at a quaint, old bookstore? Feather Love does it again, with her fancy photo skills. Kind of makes us want to get lost for a few hours in the rows of magical stories…

Happy weekend everyone!
