Happiest Wednesday to you, cakelets! We’ve got some delightful photos to share today that are as all-American as it gets. Katie & Dave fully embraced their heritage and got married among the enormous, gorgeous Wyoming foothills, with a beautiful mountain backdrop and plenty of rich, earthy details scattered about the event.

The perfect combination of delicate and masculine – like something out of romance novel or ’90s Brad Pitt movie.

How BEAUTIFUL is the shot of the ceremony with the great big sky behind them?

Love the combo of pretty petals vs. antlers and cowboys and other manly details.

Congratulations, Katie & Dave, thanks for letting us share!

Dear readers – Heather from One Love Photo passed Vanessa & Scott’s wedding photos our way and we’re so glad to be able to share them with you today.  They got married in Oxbow Park in Seattle and took advantage of the quaint local vendors for fun details and photo ops. Plus, the reception was held in an old brewery, which is as amazing as it sounds. Vanessa did most of the planning, decorating, and flower arranging herself, with help from family and friends as needed (dear old Dad provided the records for the tables – totally cute.)

Bee tee dubs, these two have an adorable love story worthy of a rom com – close friends secretly madly in love for years, while living as ROOMMATES. Right?!  Let’s adore their nuptials together now.

How could you not want to get married underneath a gigantic orange hat?  Cute to the nth degree.

Those sky-high windows are marvelous. Can you believe Vanessa & her friends put those flowers together themselves? A quick trip to the Pike Place market did the trick… so easy and pretty with the balloons!

You know how everyone says pot lucks are impossible? Turns out that’s a lie. Look how incredible everything looks!

Love all the fun and personality, Vanessa & Scott – everything was super gorgeous. May your future bring you nothing but happiness!

We’ve got a major weakness for rustic and romantic coastal weddings, and these photos of Kristen & Ben’s wedding totally deliver. Josh Goleman is the photog responsible for these stunning images, but Kristen & Ben deserve a ton of credit, considering they designed and built pretty much everything you see here themselves – even if it meant learning to use a super antique sewing machine and silkscreen printer!

This venue (Oz Farm) was a perfect choice for this event, btw – what with the gorgeous scenery, barn, redwood grove, cabins, and swimming stream.  Soooo pretty and full of natural beauty.

This gorgeous retro-French looking poster featuring silhouettes of the couple was a fab idea!  The colors are awesome, too, as is that clever little book/ring pillow.

Super sweet idea right here.  Guests wrote notes to Kristen & Ben on these 100 year old French postcards and put them in a 200 year old antique letter box during the ceremony… oh the things you can find on eBay!  They plan on reading them on their tenth anniversary.

Loving all the colorful details here, it fits so well with the simple hues of the wedding party ensembles.

We LOVE this little bit here – each placecard featured the guest’s silhouette.  We can only imagine how long that took but – yeah, so worth it.  Amazing, and such a great thing to take home.  All the paper goods were printed on birchwood by the couple, except for the invites and poster, which were made by Night Owl Paper Goods.

What super gorgeous photos!  That silhouette is so classy.  Love every little thing about this, congrats Kristen & Ben!

Good morning everyone! We’re hoping this week is better better better than last. ARG. Server issues kill us. SO!

Let’s start on a happy, pretty, inspired note. Forever & Ever Events! Have your met Mary? She’s an American, living across the pond in London, planning quirky, chic events throughout Britannia.

Isn’t she cute? It’s so nice to actually meet the lady behind the planning, isn’t it? That’s her pup, Samson.

Founder Mary Lee Herrington’s Anglophile tendencies brought her to London five years ago. When planning her own wedding in England, she realized that not only was wedding planning what she wanted to do with her career, but that there was a demand in the UK for gorgeous and quirky weddings that we so love.

Whether you are in the US dreaming of a wedding in London or you’re a resident of Old Blighty, Mary will plan your celebration with obsessive attention to detail, guiding you through every step, recommending only the most trusted vendors, providing styling ideas that inject your personality into the wedding, and personally being on hand to make sure that every single detail is completed to perfection on the day.

Each of Mary’s weddings is bespoke and tailored to the individual needs of the couple. As your wedding godmother, Forever & Ever Events will make sure your day is everything you dreamed of, which if we’re not mistaken, is the whole point in hiring a planner.
