Hello Readers of 100 Layer Cake!
I am soo dearly sorry for not replying to the questions of where and who- of the dresses and wardrobe from this Green Eyed Girl Shoot!
This is truly my first moment to sit and breath and I hope you all can accept my apology.
Ok! So about the clothes!
I love Vintage- but more importantly I love mixing vintage with someone store bought! It makes me feel like anyone can wear it- its not so “couture”.
Alot of the wardrobe is mixed with great finds at Urban Outfitters and Jcrew. For example- the Sequence Jacket assemble is a vintage Jacket from the closet, paired with a Slip from Anthroplogie and a Urban Outfitter lace skirt ( in stores now and probably on sale!)
The Vintage Oscar de La Renta Dress was an AMAZING find and from a little secret locale I love in Sea Cliff New York called Retro Now Old Bag.
The owners are Richard and Cecile and both have impeccable taste! Check them out next time you are on Long Island.
Love that you guys love the BLUE shoes! I think that pairing a splash of color is really the best wedding day surprise- besides why buy white shoes for one day? Why not just buy a fabulous pair that you can wear for the wedding and than with any outfit then on out! Alot of my girlfriends are getting married this summer and in some fab shades of coral and blue- and when Im asked for my opinion on shoes I always say- pick a color that matched your brides maids dresses for pop! Or if you want to be a little daring and still please your Mom and Mom in law to be – I say go with beige or a soft pink- maybe even mint! PS- remember if you fall in love with a white shoe- it can always be dyed after, just ask about the fabrications.
Thank you all for the comments and anything else that comes to mind- feel free to email me at – annie.nicholas26@gmail.com
I would love to chat and even help plan your wedding wardrobe!
All the best!
