Gabrielle sent us her gorgeous summer picnic wedding featured in the current issue of Australia’s Wedding Style Guide. So excited to share it here! She’s an event stylist and planner so clearly her wedding is worthy of publication. Inspired by Gabrielle’s English heritage and love of the English countryside in the summer, she threw a modern picnic party with all sorts of pretty details.
Super cute hand-lettered invites…
Would an English summer picnic be complete without croquet? Doubtful. Such pretty details.
And the striped table runners, candles, and little buttons are sooooo cute. Those envelopes with the buttons contain a personalized Thank You note to each guest. So thoughtful!
Beautifully done, Gabrielle and Mary! And big congrats to Gabrielle and Jarrod. Thanks so much for sharing your pretty day with us!
Gabrielle and Mary will be posting more photos from the wedding this week on their blog. Be sure to check it out!

Yay! So happy to see this posted, I met Gabrielle and Jarrod while they were over here in London on honeymoon a few weeks ago and they were very sweet and Gabrielle has an incredible talent and eye for design and styling. A beautiful wedding!

what a perfectly dreamy, cool wedding. the bundles of lavender, apple crates full of programs and army of flickering candles are the definition of charm.

Cute shoes!!
Love the rustic details and the casual, laid back mood of the wedding!
Love this wedding. L ike a few people I’ve been waiting (impatiently) for the photos to come out.
Just wondering how the lanterns were lit up? My partner is working on how we’re going to light up our lanterns. LEDs give you more freedom for where to place them but they often have a blue tinge. Were they already om a string when they were bought or did you make them up? Would love any details or tips you have for this?
Also, love the little bride and groom badges. Was that for all your guests to wear? Super cute
Yes the badges were for everyone to ware. Each one was different and was either fabric or made from vintage childrens books.
The lanterns were done on normal strings of lightbulbs and were connected back to a dimmer so they were lighter during dinner and dimmed during the dancing.
Love the bridesmaids’ dresses and the sweet details. The buttons on the thank yous were such a lovely touch.
Gorgeous! Where oh where did you find the holders/clips for the table numbers? I’ve been searching high and low.
I love their programs! Such a fun vintage wedding!
awe, i love a good low-key wedding. they are so real.
I love the color of the bridesmaid dresses. Everything is beautiful.
Allie I’ve bought menu holders from here: http://www.catererswarehouse.com.au/categories.asp?cID=251
I love the table runners and the candles. Quite an elegant decor accent to the whole wedding reception. Great wedding!
Those bridesmaid’s dresses are GORGEOUS!
Love the sunglass photo! too cute! inspiration for my net invite….hmmm!
I love the water backdrop during wedding ceremony. So tranquil
Hi again,
Just wondering if you made the badges yourself? Where did you get the badge making materials from? I’m thinking about making little name badges since most of my guests won’t know each other.
Thanks
I adore the wedding invites! What font is that is too cute!
