Beachside Oregon wedding: Burk + Lydia

Categories   Real Weddings

This pretty wedding is so about the clothes. The groomsmen in particular are just scrumptious in their suspenders and clamdiggers. It’s the best when couples really think through their wedding fashion, isn’t it?

And the bride’s mom made her dress…super extra bonus points for that!

Congrats, Burk and Lydia! Your take on a beach wedding is just beautiful.

Photography: Garrett Grove and James Moes / Dress: made by the mother of the Bride / Wedding Planner: Rachelle Bell from Champagne NW / Florist: Teresa Kinne from Passion Flower Floral / Caterer: Maggie’s Buns / Location: Manhattan Beach, Rockaway Beach, OR

So, SOOO about the clothes! I can't resist me a man in some suspenders! It's very Noah from the Notebook. But this couple definitely made it more beachy and casual, with no ties and rolled up khakis. I love it!

As a Portlander I get SUPER excited to see such a beautiful Oregon Coast wedding-- especially one that is more chic than "earthy." This couple hits the mark between simple and sumptuous perfectly. Well done!

I love it! It's a beach wedding but in such a whimsical natural way! So pretty and I love their vintage look! I agree with WeddingXpert, it IS very Noah from the Notebook! And that can only be a good thing!

The Oregon Coast is very special to my fiancee and I (particularly, in fact, Manhattan Beach as I grew up here) and we considered it for our wedding. Seeing these beautiful photos makes me wish that we had considered it a little further, and I am amazed by 1) how gorgeously they incorporated the scenery while still staying unique and light; but mostly I'm amazed that 2) it's not windy!! Seriously! How did you manage that?!!!

Beautiful pictures...i especially like how the colors stand out on various the flowers in the first photo. More photographers should see how to develop this style as i am sure the wedding party would appreciate it.
