Kay, so here’s that promised wedding movie. Now we know that if you’re like us, when you see a video posted on a blog you skim right over it. Resist! This one is so worth watching. If you’re on the fence about having a movie made of your wedding, this might help you with your decision. SOME of us are sorely regretting our lack of wedding movie footage after seeing this.
Movie by Singleton Films for Charlotte Jenks Lewis. Jen tells us that the Super8 was actually what initially sold them on Charlotte in the first place. Though her photography is beautiful as well, obvs.

great movie! thanks for sharing! we likey!
I am curious to know which songs were used on this video.
How lovely! The music fits the feel of their wedding, along with their cinematography. Thanks for sharing!
So glad I took the time to watch this video. Absolutely magical. I too would like to know the song names and artists used in the video. Thanks
Hey Heather,
Jen and Dan picked the songs themselves, isn’t that cute? I’ll see if I can get them out of her.
Thanks for reading!
What a darling video! I think it captured their style and the wedding perfectly. Videos are always a great way to remember the day and all its little details.
You were right! that was definitely worth the watch. Had me balling the whole way through. Thank you.
Gorgeous! This has seriously made me want a wedding movie. The first song is by Nick Drake “Pink Moon” the second song is by Iron and Wine, I don’t know the name or the other songs. But I love them all!
Good lord, that just made me tear up at work! I forwarded to my cousin who is going to be doing our video with the subject line: Major Inspiration. Thanks for sharing!!
Oh my gosh, I had never really considered having a wedding video, but seeing this I am looking for a friend to take a video at our wedding! beautiful style, beautiful songs, just lovely. Thank you for sharing!
Gorgeous! Please share the song names and artists!
#3 is Joshua Radin “Brand New Day” and the last I want to guess She & Him but not sure and not sure what song. So cute!
So fun reading everyone’s comments!! Yay for Super8 videos! I may have stamped 62 tea towels for our wedding, but all credit goes to Dan for the music (he also souped up our ipod for the music in the barn.) Here are the songs we used (in order) for our Super8 video:
Pink Moon by Nick Drake
Love and Some Verses by Iron & Wine
Brand New Day by Joshua Radin (this song picked by our fantastic videographer, Erica)
You’re Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go, Madeleine Peyroux covering Dylan
Ooh that was better than “like an old movie” beacuse it IS an old movie. Loved it.
This was amazing! And I loved the songs too. Thanks for sharing.

That video gave me chills. I love the idea of it! So timelessly classic! You just sold me on atleast getting a few shots of ours and creating something like this
Oh my goodness!! What a beautiful movie and what a lovely wedding. Congrats to the happy couple.

Makes me want to know more about Charlotte Jenks Lewis AND Erica. Erica’s got a great touch!
Someone passed this on to me, since I have a friend getting married soon. Such a sweet Super8. Made me a little weepy, and I’ve been married 30+ years! Nice job, Ms. Lewis and “Erica” (sorry, your last name is not mentioned). Lovely bride, handsome groom, lovely and such a personalized setting and event. Congratulations Jen and Dan!
PS – What a fun website!
