A few weekends ago, Jillian and Amanda spent the weekend in Palm Springs for Jenna’s super fun bachelorette “party.” They rented a swanky mid-century modern house and spent the weekend lazing by the pool with many a lemon drop martini in hand. While the lifesaver-candy-veil-wearing night on the town is a decent bachelorette option, soaking up the sun with your best gals is a fabulous and highly recommended alternative.

And if you’re interested in doing something similar, know that adorable mid century homes are totally affordable weekend rentals. (See vrbo.com and craigslist to get started).

Cute coasters Jenna made for everyone… definitely a bonus of being friends with a creative people!

And the undies. OMG we almost died when we saw the undies.

The back story is that when asked what kind of underwear she liked for her shower, (sorry Jenna but it’s part of the story!), Jenna said she really only likes plain comfy cottons. Which is not a very fun pre-wedding pressie.

So Charlene had the brilliant idea of turning Hanes Her Way into something a lot more fun. And then, after a little prodding from many excited girls, she launched her etsy shop, Paisley Pickle.

You can order custom panty designs for the bride (or yourself) in her shop.
AND, geez we almost forgot… Remember Jenna’s amazing dress design and wedding inspiration? Well, (sad for us, but awesome for Jenna), her wedding was picked up by Martha! Which means no more showing the amazing details until her wedding is published in the magazine, but in the mean time you can follow the last 2 weeks of planning over on the Bride’s Guide.

Hi Lara!
Jenna got the coasters at Fishs Eddy — you can order them online here: http://www.fishseddy.com/browse.cfm/2,50.html
Then she wrote the names on each coasters.
Good luck!

Fun! We went to costa rica for my bachelorette party and were able to get jaco rentals for super cheap! That was a fun weekend!
Oh my goodness, I rented this same exact house for my 30th bday party! Wasn’t it amazing? If anyone wants to rent it, contact me and I’ll give you the owner’s info…
