Jennifer made these super cute suede purses for her bridesmaids using her trusty AD blender pen. We’re not totally sure what a blender pen is, but we’ll find out from Jennifer. (Jen, darling, what is it?)
She says:
“Process:
1. Design or find a black and white image and print out.
2. Make a photo copy of the print out (the ink will only transfer from a photocopy)
3. Put the image face down onto your coin purse (you can also transfer onto cotton so anything is possible)
4. rub your blender pen over the paper, you will see the image start tos how through. Rub over with a rounded end of pen.
5. Pull off paper and VOILA!!!!!”
Maybe you should open an Etsy shop, Jen… just a thought.

WOW! Great results! I’m using the process for my wedding invites! Well, I want to anyway. I just did my first “TEST” last night. I don’t want my invites to smell like paint thinner, so I’m going to purchase CitraSolv which is a toxic-free solvent.
I used Nail Polish Remover for my test last night. It didn’t really give me the results I was looking for. CLOSE, but not all the ink came off. I use a spoon for a burnisher.
Jen, any tips on how to get the entire image to transfer over? Does the burnishing pen really work that well?
