Ah, the weekend… So close yet so far. Luckily we’re always down to start the festivities early, which is why we had to share this bridal shower tea party with ya first thing this morn. We even got Sam of REVEL Wedding Co. to spill her secrets with us so that any Cakies reading this could see how to throw a modern bridal shower like this very one. Her first tip? Swap the tea for bubbles if you want! Thanks to Andrew Jade Photography for sharing these images:

To get this look, opt for rose gold. It’s chic and playful and just the metallic you need to make a classic soiree like a tea party modern.

Floral ice cubes are another fun element. Sam says, Ruze Cake House + Teaspressa already lends itself to a clean and modern design so bringing in color was just the thing to make it a girlie and lively celebration. Some favorite moments are the large leaf place settings, the flowers frozen in the rose ice, and the modern and fun invitations and paper. There is also a “kiss the miss goodbye” guest book activity for the bride-to-be to keep forever!

Aren’t these salmon + cucumber tea sandwiches too perfect?

As far as linens, keep it modern with solid colors like this blush shade from La Tavola Fine Linen.

Add bright greens + pops of color throughout the floral arrangements, like all the greenery Carte Blanche Design used above.

And make sure to carry the theme throughout accents like the chairs too.
